Once again, heavy rain and cool temperatures on Thursday night resulted in no moths. I'm now in Lethbridge for the weekend. Surprisingly, as it was a dry night, there were only 7 moths of three species in the trap last night but this did include one species that I haven't seen before. A new Lymantriidae, Rusty Tussock Moth (Orgyia antiqua). As often happens, the interesting moth was on the outside of the trap so I'm happy that I got to it before it flew off...
