Luckily we missed the worst of the weather last night although we did get some rain.  There were 10 moths of  9 species and 2 of them were firsts for the year but no new backyard species this time.  Not that I'm complaining as I've had 19 new species to date.  The firsts for the year were Garden Arches (Lacanobia radix) and Morrison's Sooty Dart (Pseudohermonassa tenuicula).  I've also included a photograph of Olive Arches (Lacinipolia Olivacea) which should start to become a common backyard moth as July progresses.
